Privacy notice
Organic Adventure Ltd (company number 16723364, 2 Halifax Old Road, Huddersfield, HD1 6HW) is responsible for the personal information you give us, and is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office. This notice explains what we collect, why, and your rights.
What we collect, and why

Scoring uses the iOrienteering app, which is run by its own developer under its own privacy policy. We receive the scores it produces.
Our legal reasons
- To carry out our contract with you: taking your entry, running the event, results.
- Our legitimate interests: keeping events safe, improving them, and showing what they are like through photos and results.
- Your consent: marketing emails, and any medical information you give us. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- To protect life: using your emergency contact or medical details in an emergency.
Who sees your information
- Our own team and volunteers on the night, only as far as they need to.
- Companies that provide services to us: Stripe for payments, and our website and email providers. They may only use it to provide that service.
- The emergency services, if needed.
- The public sees only published results: your name, club and score.
- We never sell your information.
How long we keep it
- Entry and payment records: 6 years, as tax law requires.
- Emergency contact and medical information: deleted within 30 days of the event.
- Results: kept as a permanent record of the event. You can ask us to remove your name.
Cookies
This website does not use cookies for tracking or advertising. Stripe's payment page uses its own cookies to process payments securely.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, to delete it, to stop using it for marketing, or to remove you from photos or results. Email Ops@thedropuk.co.uk and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
